Jersey crowned ‘Best International Finance Centre’ at the WealthBriefing European Awards 2016

Jersey was once again successful in being named ‘Best International Finance Centre’ at the WealthBriefing European Awards 2016.

The awards, now in their fourth year, recognise and celebrate excellence across the European wealth management arena.

The BBC’s Sophie Raworth presented the awards during a gala black-tie dinner, which took place at the Guildhall in the City of London on 19 May 2016.

 Commenting on Jersey’s triumph, Geoff Cook, CEO of Jersey Finance said:

“This prestigious award is a testament to Jersey’s consistent ability to evolve as a jurisdiction and attract new business from around the world, while, at the same time, remaining committed to pursuing high standards of regulation and cooperation.

“We aim always to highlight Jersey’s strong reputation for the quality of its regulation and for the provision of the high quality financial services it has to offer, so it is encouraging when Jersey’s strengths are acknowledged in this way.”
