A Jersey-based FinTech firm is celebrating ten years in business by launching an alternative banking platform.
EWG, which was previously known as eWealthGlobal, says its new platform uses cutting-edge technology and includes international payment solutions and currency management.
It also says it will be able to sign up new clients within 24 hours, unlike traditional banks.
Founders Warren Sanders, Leigh Martin and Alan Yates, who specialise in the trust and fund administration sectors, believe Jersey’s position as a leading IFC created the ideal environment to develop this cloud-based technology.
“We are delighted to be launching this intuitive, digital banking platform which will supersede our previous offering,” Mr Sanders said.
“It is a fantastic opportunity to transform the sector and grow opportunities in Jersey. We are providing this new offering based on our in depth understanding of what our clients need most from a trusted digital banking partner; competitive fees, fast onboarding, simple integration, personal and responsive client service and above all - security.”
