The island’s key supplier of vending machines and hot drink services will soon be expanding into more environmentally friendly products after being taken over by Mercury Distribution.
The Channel Islands distribution company pledged that Jersey Vending Services' existing staff and contracts would be retained.
Commercial Director Joel Richardson commented: “We are thrilled to confirm that Dave Crabtree and the JVS team are now part of the Mercury family, and we will now be able to offer these additional products and services to our customers in Jersey and Guernsey.
“As with all things at Mercury, we are keen to review the sustainability of the products we offer and will be ensuring that customers can choose from a range of environmentally friendly options.
Dave Crabtree added: “JVS has been my baby for the last 20 years. I have been looking to expand and the most important thing was to team up with another company with the right values and with Mercury, I have found the perfect fit.”
