Four local lawyers have been named in a prestigious list of 100 "future leaders" in the wealth management industry.
The Citywealth Leaders List is compiled annually following sector-wide recommendations and consultation.
This year, individuals were questioned about their achievements and additional responsibilities within their organisations and local communities. They also had to provide evidence of the skills needed in the next generation of leaders in the industry.
These submissions were then reviewed by the judges and the Citywealth editorial team to compile the final list.
Two lawyers, Partner Kellyann Ozouf and Associate Bonnie McPartland, from Collas Crill’s international private client and trusts team appear on the list along with Angela Calnan, Group Partner in the firm’s Guernsey office.
Ms Ozouf said: "I'm thrilled Bonnie and I have made the Leaders List and would like to thank our clients and the firm for their continued support.
“The international private client and trusts team in Jersey has gone from strength to strength over the last four years and this year is particularly exciting as we continue to grow the team and expand upon our services. In September, we will be joined by Laura Hair, formerly of Harnery's, BVI, who is Scottish and BVI qualified. Laura brings with her vast amounts of experience to the team."
Luke Olivier, Counsel, and Chris Vincent, an Associate, from Mourant were also listed.
Bruce Lincoln, International Trusts and Private Client and Litigation Partner and Head of Mourant's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Jersey, said: "The inclusion of Luke and Chris in the top 100 list is a real accolade and is testament to their hard work and dedication to their roles, client work and their professional growth. We're delighted to congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition."
Sonia Shah, an Associate at Bedell Cristin, also features on the list, along with Jasmin Semlitsch, a Senior Associate in the firm's Guernsey office.
David Cadin, Bedell Cristin Managing Partner, said: “Just to be shortlisted is a fantastic achievement. Jasmin and Sonia are exceptionally strong lawyers and are positioning themselves as leaders of the future. We are immensely proud of them both, and indeed, the commitment and expertise that they bring to our cross-jurisdictional team on a daily basis."
