Sanne will be taking over half of the second big office block at the Jersey International Finance Centre when it opens in August 2018.
The company has agreed to lease around 50% of No. 5 JIFC – a 70,000 square foot office building on the corner of Castle Street and La Route de la Liberation.
The Jersey headquarters will house 320 members of staff and will be the company’s largest office.
Dean Godwin, Chief Executive Officer of SANNE, said: "We are proud of SANNE’s heritage as a Jersey headquartered business. We have been based in our current offices on Castle Street since 2007 and have reached a point where we have outgrown the space. The move to new, state of the art offices in a prime location in the island will enable us to commit our future to the island as we continue to grow, both locally and globally. The new office building is incredibly energy efficient and provides exceptional levels of natural light for those working within it. Creating a comfortable and sustainable working environment for our staff is very important to us."
Lee Henry, Managing Director of the Jersey Development Company (JDC) said: “We’re obviously delighted Sanne has selected the JIFC for its future office accommodation. This is a significant pre-let and highlights the demand for high quality, Grade A office space in St Helier. We are experiencing increased levels of interest in the JIFC now that the first building is nearing completion and we’re expecting more positive announcements in the near future.”
The first building in the Finance Centre is due to be completed in February 2017.
Local contractor Camerons has been appointed to construct the second building.
