More and more people are signing up to be a part of Jersey’s growing digital sector.
Digital Jersey has had 140 new memberships already this year with companies, partners and individuals looking for more online support.
Digital Jersey director Carla Harris said: “We are delighted that our new membership has attracted such a keen interest so far. The membership is a fantastic opportunity for us to provide support to both startups and companies within the digital sector to work towards strong growth and development of the digital landscape in Jersey as a highly important and ubiquitous area. We are also very keen to work with partner members and their product and service offerings to introduce a new and developing client base.”
The marketing agency offers four different types of membership – Tech, Partner, Community and Virtual that depending on the type include 24/7 use of the Digital Jersey Hub, free access to workshops and events, directory listing, publication of showcases or the Digital Jersey website and sponsorship opportunities.
Tech Member Danny Bannister of Total Solutions Group said: "Our engagement with Digital Jersey has been on an individual and corporate basis with significant benefit derived in both areas. We have attended thought provoking and interesting seminars, found new talented recruits and contact has been facilitated with influential decision makers. I am very much looking forward to our products and services being part of the Member & Services Directory. I can speak for my business and team when I say not only do we enjoy our engagements with Digital Jersey but the island’s technical industry, of which we are a part, is now fully represented and gaining world-wide recognition as a centre of technical excellence and innovation."
You can find out more about memberships at an informal lunchtime meeting at the Digital Jersey Hub on Thursday 20 February from 12 until 1 pm. You can register your interest by emailing rebecca.elliott@digital.je
