A lawyer from Jersey family law firm Corbett Le Quesne has been appointed to the Public Law Children Panel.
Members of the Children Panel represent individuals involved in public law proceedings when the Court is making decisions regarding the safety and welfare of children and young people who are most at risk.
Advocate Kate Donohue is an experienced children's lawyer, having worked in the UK as a family solicitor and barrister for many years before moving to Jersey.
She was called to the Jersey bar in January this year having joined Corbett Le Quesne in April 2022.
Advocate Donohue joins Advocates Barbara Corbett and Nicholas Le Quesne, partners at Corbett Le Quesne on the Panel.
Advocate Corbett said: “We are very pleased that Kate is joining us on the panel. She is an excellent children’s lawyer and her skills and experience will be much appreciated.”
