New board appointment at Liberation Group

Liberation Group has appointed its Group Managing Director of Pubs to its Board.

Jayson Perfect joined Liberation Group in 2017, originally as Managing Director of UK Managed Pubs, before progressing his role to encompass firstly the Channel Islands followed by the tenanted division of the business.

He went on to play a key role in the development of Butcombe Pubs & Inns’ business, which in 2022 won a hat-trick of Publican Awards including Best Managed Pub Co, Best Accommodation Operator and Best Premium Food Offer.

Jonathan Lawson, CEO of Liberation Group, said: “I’m delighted that Jayson is joining the Board for what will be an exciting and important period for the group. 

“We have a clear set of priorities for the next few years, including some exciting developments within our Pubs and Inns business, and it makes complete sense for Jayson to be with us around the table.”

David Kelly, Chair of Liberation Group, added that the team was "delighted to welcome Jayson to the board", saying that he will "bring additional operational and strategic insight to our decision making".
