Technology solutions provider C5 has promoted Antony Allen to the senior group role of Chief Operations Officer.

The company described the appointment as key saying it is a fundamental step in strengthening the senior management structure and succession planning following the acquisition of C5 by BDO.

Mr Allen (pictured right) was Head of Service Delivery and Operations at Itex before it was acquired by C5 where he progressed to Managing Director of IT Services and joined the board.

Antony Allen, Chief Operations Officer of C5, commented:  “In my new role I will continue to build on the excellent work the team are currently delivering. I will be accountable for making decisions in line with delivering excellent service and will be enabling the team to have even more say while ensuring we continue to operate as one C5. I have welcomed the chance to collaborate with our new owners BDO and look forward to continuing to work with them to enable growth across the group.” 

Rob Leader (pictured left), Group Managing Director of C5, commented:  “Antony has a proven track record for delivering a high level of customer service and operational efficiency and is thoroughly deserving of this promotion. This senior appointment is strategic. It is prompted by the continued growth and success of C5 and  supports our plans for the future following the acquisition of C5 by BDO. Antony will be key to both the strategic and operations directions of C5 with BDO as we continue to expand.”
