A hospitality professional, who previously worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando, has been appointed as the L'Horizon Beach Hotel and Spa's new Front Office Manager.
Rachel Crook previously worked as Fairmont Gold and Guest Experience Manager at Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda and before that in Orlando.
She will now lead the front house and concierge teams at the AA Four Red Star hotel in St. Brelade’s Bay.
Commenting on her new role, she said: “First and foremost, I am here to look after our guests and I’m really looking forward to meeting the many loyal returning guests, our local guests and new visitors to Jersey.
“Front of house is the hub of any hotel and is crucial as we see the return of hospitality. The team is here to make our guests feel reassured, safe and confident.
"Even though we might distance ourselves more than we did in the past, we will still be smiling and are extremely excited about welcoming everyone back.
“It has been wonderful to welcome our staycation guests recently and we look forward to welcoming many more.”
Hotel Manager Thomas Burford said: “We’re delighted to have Rachel on the team. Her bubbly personality and genuine caring nature truly shine, and she always has a smile on her face.
"These attributes teamed with her impeccable organisation and communication skills make her the perfect Front Office Manager for L’Horizon.”
