The Channel Islands Co-operative Society has elected Guernsey Director Paula Williams as its new President.
The Society’s Board has also appointed the current COO, Mark Cox, to the position of Acting CEO whilst Colin Macleod is away on long-term sick leave.
Ms Williams said she was delighted to have been elected as the Society's President. "I’m looking forward to working with our fantastic colleagues to drive the Society’s vision of making a real difference in the communities we serve, looking after our members and continuing as the Island’s leading responsible retailer," she added.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ben Shenton, our previous President of five years and Board member of 14 years, for all of his hard work and dedication in the role.”
