Law firm Ogier has made two appointments to Partner within its Corporate team.
Alexander Curry's corporate practice focuses on equity capital markets, cross border M&A and private equity transactions, while Oliver Richardson advises financial institutions and corporates on a range of high value and complex Jersey and BVI corporate and finance transactions.
A Legal 500 Rising Star and Lawyer of the Year finalist, his legal career started at Ogier as a bursary student before he trained and practiced at Jones Day in London. He recently received the company law prize from the Jersey Law Society after scoring the highest mark in the Jersey law exams.
"It's been a strong year for our Corporate team, retaining our top tier rankings in the Legal 500 and Chambers UK guides. Both Alexander and Olly are valued members of the team who have really proved their technical expertise and commitment to client service," Raulin Amy, the Head of Ogier's Corporate team, said.
"Both have contributed significantly to the culture and achievements of the Jersey Corporate team and their progression to partnership demonstrates Ogier's focus on developing the fantastic talent in our teams."
