Randalls completes Boat House and Farm House takeover

Monday 01 October 2018

Randalls has officially taken over the Boat House and Farm House, bringing their total number of outlets to 49, following approval from competition regulator CICRA.

The pub chain says they have "incredible plans" for the St. Aubin-based Boat House establishment, including a major refurbishment of the first floor restaurant, which will start in November before it reopens as 'The Anchor Club'.

Randalls announced its takeover plans back in February, which were then reviewed in detail by competition regulator CICRA.

The premises’ previous owners – the Boat House Group – will continue to operate The Tree House restaurant in St. Brelade.

Gavin Reid, Managing Director for Randalls, said: "I am immensely proud and both delighted to announce that Randalls have finally transacted to buy The Boat House in St. Aubin, and also, as part of the deal return The Farm House (L'Auberge du Nord) to our group of managed houses.

"This marks another milestone in Randalls colourful history and will bring the total number of privately run island outlets to 49. We are confident that the addition of these two new iconic establishments will bring extra added value for all our Randalls Loyalty card holders, where they will both be able to redeem and spend their points straight away."
