Redwood Offshore has developed a specialist digital training product which it hopes will revolutionise the way local companies deliver essential compliance training.
The online digital product trains employees remotely and interactively on anti-money laundering (AML), and combatting the financing of terrorism (CFT) using a smart phone or tablet.
The training specifically covers the Jersey AML/CFT handbook.
Jayne Button, Head of Jersey Office at Redwood Offshore Ltd, said: "Having the most up to date knowledge of AML/CFT is fundamental for all businesses. The time that is usually required to train employees in-house is costly, as it requires manpower and resource. However, our online digital training product’s method of delivery through the use of a smart phone or tablet means there is no need for learners to attend seminars or classroom sessions, making it easy to roll out across large organisations and to new employees.
"The product can also provide regular reports, bespoke to each individual user, charting training progress, including areas that require more attention. We are also able to update the new training as and when new legislation or regulation is introduced. We live in a fast-paced digital world and the use of smart phones and tablets means we can now move to a more modern and accessible way of learning."
