SANNE looks forward to year of growth following impressive 2015 financial results

Friday 06 May 2016

SANNE, the specialist provider of corporate, fund and private client administration, reporting and fiduciary services, says it is looking forward to a year of further growth after returning strong financial results for 2015.

The business, which listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange in April 2015, delivered strong revenue and profit growth across its core business divisions while continuing to invest in its operational capabilities and infrastructure in order to maintain a robust platform in support of future performance.

"A great deal has been achieved during 2015, which has seen SANNE achieve good growth across its core business activities while successfully completing an initial public offering on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. SANNE’s ongoing strategic focus is to continue building scale in established and emerging markets to be a leading provider of corporate, fund and private client administration, fiduciary and reporting services," said the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Dean Godwin.

"The board sees continued opportunities for growth despite market uncertainty. A healthy level of new business wins in 2015 means there is a strong forward momentum, particularly within those business lines focused on the alternatives asset sector."

The financial discipline demonstrated by the group ensured that the business continued to deliver impressive operating margins and cash conversion. 2015 saw SANNE increase its group revenue by 28% to £45.6m, with adjusted profit before tax and exceptional items up 79% to £14.5m. Adjusted operating profit rose 39% to £15.7m.

SANNE has continued to build out if capability and service offering, with significant acquisitions, senior appointments and award shortlistings.

Justin Partington was appointed to the newly created role of global head of funds and Steve Sokic was appointed to the newly created role of global head of private client. Both roles work closely with the respective heads of division, with their focus being on enhancing SANNE’s current global fund and private client offering, respectively, to clients and strengthen its reputation as a leading provider of global administration services.

In February, the company acquired Chartered Corporate Services (CCS), a Dublin based corporate services business that specialises in the delivery of company secretarial, liquidations, payroll and VAT reporting services. SANNE has also entered into an agreement to acquire IDS Fund Services (IDS), an independent South African based provider of outsourced investment administration services to the asset management industry.

The company was shortlisted in the PLC awards for ‘New Company of the Year’ and has been shortlisted to be named ‘Trust Company of the Year’ at the 2016 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards in May.

Commitment to training and staff development remains a priority, with the 2016 professional graduate training programme expected to see its biggest intake to date. SANNE, which has been running the scheme since 2004, is searching for graduates and A-Level students from Jersey to join its rigorous three-year, fully-supported development and training scheme which once completed will see graduated achieve a ICSA, ACCA or ICAEW qualification. Since the initiative started more than 200 people have gone through the programme and in February 2016, 21 graduates qualified from the programme.
