Two new board members are joining Visit Jersey during what the tourism promotion body describes as an "exciting, rapidly changing time for global tourism".
Martin George (pictured top, left), former Customer Director at Waitrose, and Kyle Haughton (top, right), the former Managing Director of City Cruises plc, are joining the board as Non-executive Directors.
Mr George is joining the board with immediate effect, while Mr Haughton will join in April to replace Amanda Willmott, a leader in hospitality brand development.
Two other NEDs were appointed in October. They were Claire Bentley, managing director of British Airways Holidays, and Daniel Rowles, Chief Executive of digital marketing consultancy Target Internet.
Lisa Springate, Chair of Visit Jersey, said of the new appointments: “It is an exciting, rapidly changing time for global tourism and we are delighted to welcome Martin and Kyle to the Visit Jersey board.
“Their wealth of experience and diverse skill sets complement the existing expertise on the board, and will strengthen Jersey’s position as we work to build a vibrant, sustainable visitor economy.”
