Visit Jersey's autumn 2017 campaign has been shortlisted in the Digital Marketing Campaign category in the Travel Marketing Awards, which recognise marketing excellence in the travel industry.
The ‘How do you want to feel?’ campaign was produced in partnership with local agency Oi, which has been shortlisted as Marketing Agency of the Year.
Partly shot in London, the campaign featured individuals being asked both how they were feeling, versus how they wanted to feel. Many of their answers highlighted the stresses of living in a city, which presented the perfect opportunity to position Jersey as the tonic to city life.
The video was seen over 1.5 million times and is said to have helped increase the number of visitors to the island in October and November 2017 by 17%.

Louise Ashworth, Head of Marketing at Visit Jersey, commented: “We are delighted the campaign has been shortlisted for this award. Working with our creative agency, we continually strive to create compelling and inspirational content to help the world fall in love with Jersey. This award is further recognition that we are realising this ambition."
Ben Clarke, Oi's Head of Creative and Digital, added: "We are all very proud of the work Oi and Visit Jersey have done together so far. Being shortlisted for this award is a great recognition of our efforts in reminding ourselves and the world just how special Jersey is as a place to reconnect and revitalise."
This is not the first time an Oi campaign for Visit Jersey has caught the eye of the Travel Marketing Awards. In 2017, the brand launch campaign, which included some of the first use of 360 degree videos for a tourism brand, was runner-up in the Best Integrated Campaign category.
Winners of the Travel Marketing Awards ceremony will be announced on 11 March in London.
