The guaranteed first prize for the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery has reached £600,000 as a result of increased ticket sales and a new game structure.

This will continue to increase as more tickets are sold, and organisers are hoping the jackpot will top last year’s £1million. This is positive news for the good causes that benefit from the lottery. Last year £1.3 million was available to distribute to Jersey charities.

There are more prizes available this year following the new game structure called “Millionaire Maker”. These include a second prize of £50,000, five prizes of £10,000, 10 prizes of £5,000, 15 prizes of £2,500, 25 prizes of £1,000 and 30 prizes of £500.

There are also more prizes available for the instant win scratch cards and the top winning amount is £50,000, compared to £5,000 last year.

Tickets for the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery draw cost £3.

The winning numbers will be announced on Thursday, 20 December 2018 live on ITV.
