Citizens Advice gives free, impartial, confidential advice to 11,000 clients from all walks of life every year. As one of their 40th birthday projects, their drop-in service is now also available at Jersey Library every Tuesday from 5.00pm to 7.30pm.
Laura Quenault, Service Manager of Citizens Advice said “The Library was an obvious choice to bring the service out into the community, enabling us to reach more people at their convenience during the Library’s evening opening. We are delighted it has been well received and anticipate an increase in demand as word spreads.”
Edward Jewell, Chief Librarian said “We are very pleased to be working with Citizens Advice to help extend the reach of their work in the community. We are committed to providing and supporting excellent information services, whether through our extensive range of resources and enquiry services, by working with organisations such as Citizens Advice or by hosting talks and workshops led by local speakers.”
