Jersey Hospice Care has supported people in our community with a cancer diagnosis since 1982, and today we care for around 500 people with cancer every year.
We support our patients to get the best out of every day, to make every day count – and this is only possible thanks to our community that supports us so generously each year.
As we join people around the world to mark World Cancer Day, we reflect on this year’s theme “Close the Care Gap”. Cancer is the second leading cause of death world-wide, however, there are many throughout the world whose access to care and information is limited. The Jersey Cancer Support Network will be at the Santander Work Café on 4 February (10am to 12pm) hosting a range of free talks from local partners, who have come together to provide an opportunity for islanders to find out more about cancer and cancer care in Jersey. If you would like further information on the services provided by Hospice, please visit www.jerseyhospicecare.com, or call us on 876555 today.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Jersey Hospice Care over the years and helped ensure we can continue to provide personalised care, free of charge, to people in our community with a life limiting illness such as cancer.
