Community Savings, a leading advocate for financial inclusion, successfully hosted its inaugural Charity Golf Day on Wednesday 4th October at Les Ormes Golf Club.

The event drew an overwhelming response from the community, showcasing the collective commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of fellow islanders facing financial exclusion.

The Charity Golf Day, a day filled with camaraderie and purpose, brought together golf enthusiasts and philanthropists from all corners of our island. The event not only provided an opportunity for golfers to showcase their skills but also raised vital funds to assist those in need within our community.

"I was overwhelmed by the incredible response to our inaugural Charity Golf Day," said Paul Brookes, Chairman of Community Savings. "It was heartwarming to see such strong support from the community who came together for a fantastic day on the course and to raise funds to assist fellow islanders who, without our help, would remain financially excluded. This event underscores our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve."

The funds raised during the event will play a pivotal role in furthering Community Savings' mission of promoting financial inclusion and providing critical financial services to underserved individuals and families on our island.

Integritas Wealth Partners, a respected leader in our business community, joined hands with Community Savings as sponsor for the inaugural golf day. Their support not only contributed to the event's success but also helped raise awareness for a noble cause.

"Integritas was delighted to support the inaugural golf day, to raise both funds and awareness for a great cause which provides an immediate and meaningful impact for those who receive their services," said Edward Loader, Managing Director of Integritas.

The event featured a day of competitive golf, followed by a reception where participants celebrated their collective efforts in advancing financial inclusion. There were also various prizes and recognitions awarded to participants for their performances, followed by a raffle to raise further funds.

Additionally, Community Savings wish to congratulate the winning team of the day, Santander International.  Santander International's support and participation exemplify the spirit of community engagement, and we extend our sincere appreciation to them and all the teams who participated in this memorable event.

Community Savings extend their heartfelt gratitude to Integritas for their sponsorship, all participants, and the volunteers who made the inaugural Charity Golf Day a resounding success. The charity remains dedicated to its mission of creating a more inclusive and financially equitable island community.
