A social media guru is coming to the Channel Islands to impart her wisdom to anyone with an interest in online communications.
Gabrielle Laine-Peters will be in Guernsey on Tuesday 22 October at Specsavers and in Jersey on Wednesday 23 October at the Ormer Board Room.
With 20 years’ experience in PR, marketing and advertising, Ms Laine- Peters is a 9/11 survivor whose experiences led her to appreciate the power of social media and ultimately to her successful career in this sector.
Having collaborated on projects with various organisations including NASA and the UK government, her seminar aims to highlight the importance of the rapidly-evolving social media world and how it directly affects business.
CIPR Channel Islands chairman Steve Falla said: “This is an invaluable chance for professionals and others to get an insight into the precise art of engaging with the public through social media.”
