Jersey Hospice Care’s annual cycling festival, the Tour de Jersey returns on Sunday 9th July 2023 with even more on offer for everyone, from shorter family friendly routes to the 100 kilometre challenge for serious cyclists. Any roadworthy bike is suitable, as well as e-bikes, to enable more people to take part and stay active.

Proudly sponsored by Ravenscroft for the fourth year, the Tour de Jersey has grown in popularity with cyclists of all abilities coming together for a great day of activity in aid of the care and support provided by Jersey Hospice Care

The four routes, ranging from 7km to 100km, have been designed with all abilities in mind by Cog and Sprocket owner and long-term supporter of Jersey Hospice Care, Ian WilliamsHe has carefully crafted two family routes and two routes for more serious cyclists who like a bit more of a challenge:

  • 7km family route has something for novice and our youngest cyclists, younger participants can also join in on their scooters or balance bikes. It starts at Albert Pier and follows the cycle track to Bel Royal and back.  Entry fee is £10 for anyone over 12 and free for under 12s.

  • 25km family route is great for older children or those who are just starting to cycle longer distancesThis route starts at Albert Pier and follows the cycle track all the way to Corbiere and back. Entry fee is £10 for anyone over 12 and free for under 12s.

  • 50km route is a challenge but achievable. The 50km route is designed for cyclists who want to be challenged but don't yet feel confident taking on the full 100km. Features some hills and leg stretch areas.Entry fee is £20 for adults and £10 for 12 to 16 year olds.

  • 100km route for serious cyclists who want to take on a challenge, this leg stretch of a route around the Island, takes in many hills and stunning scenery.Entry fee is £20 for adults and £10 for 12 to 16 year olds.
