Local construction company, GMK Construction, have lent their support to Transform Together to allow them to host their first White Collar Boxing event this Saturday. Thanks to the company’s financial commitment and building construction expertise the private coaching gym will welcome over 500 guests at a lavish event at the Royal Trinity Showground.

As well as stepping forward as the main sponsor of the boxing evening, GMK have also sponsored white collar boxers Gav Eastcroft and Conor Neeson, covering their training costs of entering the camp.

Greg Kelly, owner of GMK Construction said: “Events like these allow us to get to the heart of the island’s community as well as giving back to a very worthwhile charity. As someone who regularly trains at Transform Together, I know the commitment it has taken to prepare for this show and how hard the team have worked to make this a success. I am sure it will be the spectacle of the year and the start of many great shows to come.”

GMK Construction undertook the renovation work at the island’s newest gym facility, turning it into a state-of-the-art training venue. The gym offers members a unique personalised experience, where tailored programmes are designed and delivered in a safe and supportive community environment.

Tom Frame, Co-owner of Transform Together, said: “We are hugely grateful to the support of GMK Construction for our inaugural event and for shaping our new home at Longueville. This show is dependent of the support of our sponsors and we wouldn’t be able to host it without GMK’s generous donation.

“They went beyond the call of duty with Greg personally working late into the night to ensure we met our launch date on time. This is much more than a gym for our members, it’s a home, family and support network that can help you achieve your goals and dreams.”

The Peaky Blinder themed White Collar show will be held at on Saturday 21st December welcoming boxers into the ring to raise money for local charity Silkworth Lodge, which helps those affected by drug and alcohol addiction.
