The team at Grand Jersey has been cooking up a special welcome for their new neighbours.
Nicolas Valmagna, Executive Chef at the AA Five Star St Helier hotel has baked a huge Victoria sponge cake, branded with the law firm’s logo, to extend a hospitable hello to the seventy plus team at Collas Crill. The cake was personally delivered by Thusitha Sumanasekera Grand Jersey’s newly appointed Hotel Manager last Friday (9th February).
Collas Crill relocated to the iconic Gaspé House at 66-72 the Esplanade, next door to Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa just before Christmas.
Commenting on the gesture, Simon Miller General Manager of Hand Picked Hotels Jersey said, “Collas Crill has been a valued client of ours for a number of years, using our meeting and conference facilities and we’re delighted that they’ve now moved in next door. We really wanted to welcome them to the neighbourhood and Nicolas’ delicious cake seemed like the perfect sweet treat to share with them!”
