A series of free events have been arranged for Invasive Species Week (15 – 22 May) to raise awareness of invasive non-native species.

Islanders can sign up to any of the free talks or guided walks by registering on Eventbrite, or contacting Isabelle Duggan on i.duggan@gov.je or 01534 441600. The events are being run by the Invasive Species team in Natural Environment.

For more information about each of the talks and guided walks, please check on Eventbrite:

Invasive Species Officer, Isabelle Duggan, said: “Invasive Species Week is such an important week to raise Islanders’ awareness about invasive non-native species. We’ve got some really exciting events happening this year and would like as many people in the community to come along to one of our free talks or take part in one of the guided walks which are being delivered by local experts.”
