With five weeks to go until 1st May, the start of this year’s 30 Rides in 30 Days Challenge, the jerseys for this year’s event have arrived and are being distributed to the 95 riders registered so far.
This is a higher number of riders registered than usual with five weeks still to go to the start.
This year’s jersey has been re designed by Chris Griffiths at Two Degrees North who has also registered to take part with a team from the design studio.
Chris took part in the first ever 30 Rides in 30 Days Challenge in 2008. In the thirteen years since over £800,000 for the Les Bourgs Hospice.
Ian Brown said “The 30/30 jerseys basic design had been the same for thirteen years with the only base colour which has changed each year. Chris suggested a refresh and the new design is very much more current”.
Chris is taking part again because “It has been quite a few years since I last took part, so it feels good to give it another go. I love cycling but most of the time I go out for rides on my own so I really like the idea that we can take part as a team this year which I think will be fun. I also will use the challenge to become fitter and stronger and if I can do that whilst raising money for Les Bourgs it really us a win, win.”
If you are interested in taking part as an individual or as part of a group of up to four riders visit www.ride30in30.com where you can register online. Alternatively contact Ian Brown at ian@ianbrowns.co.uk or visit the shop to register in person.
