SANNE has made a senior appointment in its New York office as the Jersey-headquartered business strengthens its service offering by attracting the best people.
Fred Steinberg, joins SANNE in the capacity of managing director – New York. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Fred will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of SANNE’s New York and Belgrade offices. He joins SANNE from Morgan Stanley, New York, where he held the position of executive director in finance overseeing its closed ended alternative asset funds.
Mr Steinberg will also help drive the business forward by strengthening SANNEs market-leading proposition for clients in the Americas and abroad through the business’s outsourced alternative asset and corporate administration and reporting services.

Mr Steinberg has built deep expertise in international operations and regulatory issues - such as AIFMD - during a career in private equity and alternative assets that started in 1986. He also held leadership roles in the industry including time at Lehman Brothers and Prudential Securities.
In his new role at SANNE, Mr Steinberg will be responsible for the strategic direction, management and delivery of all aspects of operations, systems and processes across the company’s New York and Belgrade offices.
He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Accounting and Finance) degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and is a certified public account in the State of New York.
