We’re inviting islanders to sip, savour, and support Jersey Hospice Care during this year’s Afternoon Tea Week, from the 12 - 18 of August.

Afternoon Tea Week celebrates the great British tradition of Afternoon Tea and is the perfect excuse to catch up with friends, colleagues, or loved ones over a cuppa and some tasty treats!

Marina Brockbank, our Community Engagement Officer, said: “It’s all about bringing people together doing something that’s just a bit of classic British fun – a tea party! And it’s to raise money for Hospice, so we can keep supporting islanders in need – whether that’s with specialist palliative and end of life care, or through emotional and bereavement support. So, while you’re sipping your tea and taking a bite of scone, you can know that you’re doing so while making a difference!”

We're encouraging islanders to organise their own tea parties to raise funds for Jersey Hospice Care. To help with this, we’ve created a fundraising pack with a variety of materials to help put the event together. Within the pack, you’ll find some gorgeous bunting and cake flags, invitations that you can personalise, and some posters for you to promote your event.

If dining out is more your cup of tea, then you can still support your Hospice by heading over to the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, where the wonderful team are kindly donating £2 for every afternoon tea sold during Afternoon Tea Week.

Book your tea here.

The fundraising packs are available here.

We’d be delighted to hear about your tea party, let us know your plans or get in touch at fundraising@jerseyhospicecare.com
