Jersey Corporate Services Limited (JCSL) has teamed up with Codex Jersey to offer an exciting new training course aimed at introducing people to the world of coding.

From September it is expected that all children in the UK and in Jersey will learn coding at school as the norm and in fact many of the Island’s schools are already participating in extra-curricular classes. Unfortunately the adult population has missed this opportunity, but that should not exclude them from learning important web languages.

The purpose of the course is to help participants understand the fundamentals of website design and how websites are coded. It will take away the fear and mystery and provide an insight into the digital world. You will learn how the internet is controlled by computer code, how to write code yourself and the secrets of what makes a successful website.
Using Codex Jersey’s unique formula, you will gain insight into the basic web languages, such as HTML and CSS. You will also understand more about important internet marketing skills such as SEO and Analytics.

The course should broaden your expectations of what is possible to achieve on the internet, give you the confidence to be creative and enhance your ability to communicate with web service providers.

The first sessions are being run in early June and are already in high demand. To find out more and to book your place, please visit http://www.jerseycs.com/training/introduction-coding-training/ where you can also keep up to date with other upcoming training sessions.
