From looking at wildlife in Havre des Pas rockpools to finding out more about WWII and supporting local triathletes, this weekend's schedule has plenty in store to get you out and about.

What? Join Jersey Biodiversity Centre for a session of rock pooling searching for inspiration for live drawing. The area of rocky shore around Havre des Pas is a buzz for wildlife including sponges, fish, anemones and loads of crabs, you will be able to use guides to learn the animal names and help record wildlife for Jersey conservation. Then, you can settle down along the shore with wildlife and enjoy the scenery whilst drawing and painting your rockpool finds. (Equipment for drawing and watercolour is provided.)

What? Step into local bunkers and find out more about Jersey Occupation and World War 2 with Phil and Kimberley from Jersey War Tours.

Where? Start from upper car park in Sorel Point
What? Join Nicky Mansell from Jersey Uncovered for a circular walk from Sorel to Devil's Hole to discover the geology and wildlife of the north coast. Bring your swimming things if you fancy a dip in the Lavoir des Dames!

Where? The Harbour Gallery, 19 The Quay, Commercial Buildings
What? Potty Eco Pots’ sustrainable event is back, with a new location at the Harbour Gallery. Rag Trade is a free clothes, household item, plants, plant pots, food and toiletries swap and gifting event. You can bring along any unwanted items or just show up to collect free items.

What? Accuro Jersey Triathlon is back for its 10th edition on the Waterfront Course! Whilst it’s too late to join, you can show your support for the competitors who will swim in front of Elizabeth Castle, cycle around the stunning west coast of the island and run on the Waterfront.
