What? Philip’s Footprints’ annual 10km walk is taking place this weekend to raise awareness for Baby Loss Awareness Week (9 to 15 October) and raise funds to support bereaved parents who lose a baby or child.
When? Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October – 10:00 to 17:00
Where? Hamptonne Country Life Museum
What? Organised by Jersey Heritage, La Faîs’sie d’Cidre is the celebration of cider making traditions. Come and support the volunteers at Hamptonne as they work in the traditional way with horse power, to bring Jersey’s rich heritage of cider production to life.

Where? Start from the Esplanade car park
What? Students from Beaulieu have organised a rideout for Cry Charity for the Gate of Hope cause. Participants are invited to arrive promptly for the start with a full tank of fuel and some change to make donations to the cause.

Where? Springfield Stadium
What? After a 7-0 victory against Sheerwater FC, the Bulls are returning to Springfield Stadium this weekend to face Balham.

Where? 16 New Street
What? Enjoy Bernand and Sullivan’s one-act comic opera, first staged in 1867, in the splendour of the Victorian Club Room at 16 New Street. Sergeant Bouncer, an old soldier, has a scheme to get double rent from a single room: by day he lets it to Mr Box, a printer who is out all night; and by night to Mr Cox, a hatter who works all day. Bouncer’s plan works well…until Mr Cox is, unexpectedly, given a day’s holiday. The compact cast of three creates an intimate and amusing experience.
Ticket price includes a welcome drink on arrival. Proceeds will be shared between the National Trust for Jersey and the Jersey Gilbert and Sullivan Society.

Where? Bouley Bay Dive Centre
What? A programme designed for complete beginners to give them a taste of scuba diving in the sea. The session will last around two hours and will be conducted in Bouley Bay with qualified PADI Instructors.
