Montagu Evans has appointed a commercial surveyor with almost 30 years’ experience in the industry.
In the new role, Sarah Davidson will focus on property management, commercial property valuations and lease negotiations.
‘Sarah has a genuine depth and wealth of experience in various sectors, markets and property types. Her detailed understanding of client requirements and expectations is clear and she will be a great asset to our team at Montagu Evans,’ said managing director Tony Rowbotham.
Sarah, who holds a degree in estate management and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, has been involved in the Guernsey commercial property sector for more than eight years having worked previously in the UK and the Caribbean.
‘Whilst living and working in the Caribbean, I had the unusual thrill of having to value a deserted island from a two-seater helicopter’ said Sarah, who said she was looking forward to the challenges the new job will bring.
‘Montagu Evans is highly regarded and has an excellent reputation for managing some of the largest and most complex commercial buildings in the Channel Islands. The work will be varied, which is great, and I am looking forward to getting out and about on site and building relationships with both long-standing and prospective clients.’
Sarah began her career in Birmingham as a surveyor with Lambert Smith Hampton and gained experience in her field with the likes of Birmingham City Council and Bradford & Bingley Group Surveyors in the West Midlands, Construction Advisory Services Ltd in the Caribbean and then with well known local practices in Guernsey.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys keeping fit, interior design, reading and socialising with friends.
