EY’s Chris Bold has been named as one of the best and brightest accountancy young practice talents by Accountancy Age.
In recognition of Young Professionals Day, the publication’s fifth annual ’35 under 35 – Practice’ list named 35 accountancy professionals in the UK of which Chris Bold, a senior manager at EY, was included.

Chris joined EY’s Guernsey office in 2005 as a graduate associate and qualified with the ICAEW in 2009. He has over 10 years’ experience in financial services and particularly asset management, working in assurance, transaction advisory services and restructuring.
After obtaining the ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency in 2013, he moved to EY’s London office on a two year secondment with the restructuring team where he was lead project manager in a major asset management case and completed complicated legal entity rationalisations of around 500 funds.
He worked in the Liquidations and Strategic Exit Routes (LASER) team and returned to the Guernsey office in September 2015 after which he was recently promoted to Senior Manager.
Within the Channel Islands firm he has advised listed funds, played key roles within teams which helped clients raise in excess of $3bn with Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and secondary capital raisings and also manages portfolios of audit and advisory projects.
