Eight years after she started her legal career with Ogier as a bursary student, associate Charlotte Brown has been admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
Charlotte advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial, regulatory and investment fund matters.
In March, she was part of the cross-jurisdictional Ogier team that acted for Société Générale in its purchase of Kleinwort Benson Wealth Management.
Charlotte said “I am thrilled to start my role as an associate with Ogier. The firm has supported me through my undergraduate degree, postgraduate diploma in legal practice and finally, my training contract in which I was definitely put through my paces but encouraged every step of the way.
“I am privileged to engage in stimulating work with supportive colleagues and to be part of a firm held in such high regard.”

Charlotte studied in Leicester and Paris before taking on a full-time role at Ogier as a trainee solicitor in 2014. She is a member of the Guernsey International Legal Association and Women’s Development Forum, a Guernsey not-for–profit organisation which works to promote the success of working women in the Channel Islands.
