Heritage Insurance has agreed a sponsorship deal with the local branch of the IoD to support the organisation’s monthly lunch series.
The lunches are one of the IoD’s key regular networking events. Each month a senior member of the local business community is invited to make a presentation to attendees. The theme for the 2014 lunches is infrastructure, an important element of which is air travel. Therefore the lunch programme was kicked off this year by Mark Darby, Chief Executive of Aurigny Air Services, who spoke at the first event held on Friday 17 January.
Karl Bradley, managing director of Heritage Insurance explained the company’s involvement:
‘The IoD is one of the leading business networking organisations in the UK with a particularly active branch in Guernsey which boasts around 750 members. We are delighted to be associated with the organisation and look forward to some interesting debates.’
