A senior finance industry professional with three decades of experience has been appointed non-executive director of specialist independent trust company Trust Corporation International.

Ken Bradley has held a number of senior positions in large international banks across the retail banking, corporate and fiduciary divisions, giving him skills in strategic development, business management, corporate governance and regulatory oversight across a diverse range of business areas.

He holds an MBA from Warwick University where he previously graduated with a first class honours degree in chemistry and has completed the Diploma of the IoD chartered director programme.

His primary role at Trust Corporation is to provide independent and objective advice and challenge to the board and executive directors in setting and implementing the firm’s growth strategy.

Most recently Mr Bradley was chief country officer, Guernsey, and head of fiduciaries strategy for Barclays’ Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and London businesses.

He was previously director of corporate and institutional banking at RBS International in Guernsey.

Mr Bradley said: “I am very much looking forward to working with Trust Corporation International’s board. I am joining an exceptional business which has justifiably carved out a reputation for excellence and for the high calibre of its team at all levels.”

Trust Corporation International director Jonathan Plimley said: “We are delighted with Ken’s appointment. Ken has a proven track record and is highly regarded in our industry.

“His extensive expertise and experience will enable him to guide and challenge the board as we continue to develop and grow.”
