KPMG in the Channel Islands are pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Salisbury as Audit Director. The firm are expanding their leadership team to support the continued growth of the business.
Mr Salisbury has over 27 years of public accounting experience and is highly proficient in dealing with a large array of complex financial instruments. His role at KPMG in the Channel Islands sees him working on both listed and unlisted entities serving clients from the small start-up entities to major international institutions. His portfolio is made up of various audit and assurance work mainly focussing on funds, banks and trusts and other fiduciary companies.
Prior to moving to Guernsey, Mr Salisbury worked in the UK for ten years and the Cayman Islands for a further ten years. During his career, he has worked for other Big 4 audit firms and gained a wealth of international experience. He has delivered technical projects and efficiency mandates, as well as being responsible for setting up a new department and being heavily involved in business conduct and ethical matters.
He is a member of the Institute of Directors and the Guernsey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants. In his leisure time he enjoys walking, football and golf. He has previously been awarded a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Guernsey Sunrise for exceptional services to the community.
