A management buy-out has led to a new senior management team at Richmond Fiduciary Group.
Managing Director Mike Good led the action, along with directors Jim Elliott, Paul Gaudion, Alan Jenner, Tony Link and John McKellar.
“Richmond has built a strong identity as an independent, locally owned trust company,” said Mr Good. “We wanted to continue in this vein, using our independent status to deliver the best service for clients. It allows us to be flexible and to make decisions quickly and to work with a range of different investment managers for the benefit of our clients.”
The business has a strong client base in Southern Africa, as well as into the UK and Europe.
“One growth area for us is international pensions,” said Mr Good. “This is an area that the new management team is keen to pursue.”
Former chairman Alan Chick has left the business to pursue other interests.
“The new team is made up of existing Richmond directors,” said Mr Good.
“We believe that will give our clients the service and quality they are used to and allow us to explore new areas of service.”
Richmond was established in 1988 and is based in Guernsey offering fiduciary services including professional trust and company formation and management. The directors, together with the senior managers have over 250 years combined experience in the international finance industry.
