A trainee trust and company administrator at Saffery Champness has been awarded the prize for best performance in the accounting module in the International Certificate in Finance and Administration by the ICSA.
Jodie Martel has worked for Saffery Champness since February 2015 after completing her A Levels at the Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre.
Miss Martel is a member of a fiduciary team specialising in the establishment, management and operation of offshore structures and in her role is responsible for the daily administration of a defined portfolio of clients.
ICSA’s accounting prize is awarded after each examination session to the most exemplary student in the module.

“We are proud of Jodie’s hard work and determination in her exams; the recognition from ICSA is a well-deserved endorsement of her excellent results.”
Miss Martel said: “Studying towards the three exams for the certificate has added to my knowledge of working within the financial sector and has so far been a rewarding experience.
“I was thrilled to find out I had received a distinction in the accounting module but then to find out I’d been awarded best paper was a complete surprise.”
Miss Martel is currently studying towards the final module in the certificate level qualification, which is on investments, and on successful completion of the certificate hopes to continue her studies to ICSA Diploma level.
