Skipton international is pleased to announce the appointment of three new banking administrators to strengthen its existing team, as Skipton continue to assert their presence within the Channel Islands.
All three new joiners will assist the banking team with the onboarding of new Skipton customers and establishing their bank accounts. They will also be responsible for refreshing existing customers’ information, sending out regular communications, as well as processing payments.
Arran Robinson joins the Skipton banking team following seven years working locally as a Pensions Administrator. He was looking for a change that would allow him to remain in the finance sector and which would make use of his transferrable skills. Arran said: “I’m excited to be in a role that will demand a high level of customer service and requires a great deal of people interaction. Hopefully this will allow me to build upon my existing skills to become a very rounded banker.” Arran will be looking to gain the Professional Banker Certificate with the support of Skipton.
Following a period working for the bank on their reception, Becky Lee was eager to become a more permanent fixture at the bank after experiencing first-hand what a great working culture the bank has. Becky said: “There is a real sense at Skipton that they care about their staff and are invested in their growth and professional development. I am really glad that I now get to play my part in the larger banking team.”
Jess Bridle also joins the banking team from another department at Skipton, having worked in Customer Services for the last year. As a Banking Administrator Jess is looking to gain exposure to the more technical side of the banking world and will enjoy being able to follow a process through from start to finish. Jess said: “I bring a strong customer services background to the role, but more importantly I think, a good understanding of how the work which Skipton do can directly impact its customers.” Jess is hoping to play a large part in how the banking team implement certain projects in the near future and ensuring that these are rolled out as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Jim Coupe, Managing Director, Skipton International, said: “The world of banking has changed dramatically over the last few years and it is important that we remain ahead of the curve in relation to these developments. Part of this is investing in the right individuals and ensuring that they are well trained and given the tools with which to provide an excellent service. We are very pleased that Arran has joined us and that Jess and Becky have found their way into roles within Skipton which will allow them to forge a career.”
