Tickets for the Livingroom House Lottery are now on sale and demand is high with only 5,000 tickets for sale.
At £150 per ticket, all the money raised will go to Hope for a Child and further substantial donations to The Hub, Action for Children and the Saumarez Park Playground Appeal.
First prize is a brand new, luxury two-bedroom house (inclusive of all legal and court fees) tucked away at the rear of the Infinity Gardens development on La Vrangue. No.6 boasts a private garden, additional communal parkland garden and two parking spaces.
Set over two floors, No.6 Infinity Gardens is an ideal property for all with great space both inside and out. The ground floor comprises a stunning, contemporary kitchen/dining/sitting room and cloakroom. There are two double bedrooms and a luxury bathroom on the first floor.
Infinity Gardens is a quiet oasis in St. Peter Port – set on a 1.06 acre site with communal parkland gardens; it’s a unique St Peter Port development.
The quality of the house is just one of the elements which sets the Livingroom House Lottery apart.
The runner-up prizes are worthy of their own lottery with a stunning, brand new, midnight black, five-door Mini Cooper S worth £20,000 for the second prize and ten further cash prizes also up for grabs. A maximum of 5,000 tickets will be sold so your chances of winning are excellent!
Announcing the lottery at the Livingroom 10th anniversary party Livingroom founder and managing director, Simon Torode, said his estate agency was delighted to be involved in a community initiative which will result in a Guernsey resident winning a new home and funds raised for four Guernsey charities.
“We are enormously proud to be involved in promoting this lottery not least because we want to raise as much money as we can for the four charities. It’s an excellent house that will appeal to a broad range of the Guernsey community from first-time buyers to retirees and everyone in between.
“We were determined that the ticket price would be affordable for all and we’re delighted to work with Hope for a Child to be able to benefit the chosen charities; our children and youth are an intrinsic part of our future and we’re so delighted to be able to support each of the charities chosen. The house will be life-changing for the winner and the money raised is vitally important for the charities.”
Hope for a Child coordinator and lottery promoter, Tom Herring, said: “So many people are really excited about this lottery. The calibre of the prizes, not least a proper home for one lucky winner, are superb. Our phones have been running hot and we have a long list of pre-orders we are currently going through.”
