A 19-year old who failed to display a valid insurance disc on his car windscreen has been fined £150.
Paulo Diogo Costa Mendes admitted the offence when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
The court heard that the insurance on his Volkswagen Golf had expired on 10 December but the vehicle was spotted in La Rue de Patier in St Saviour on 13 December without a valid disc.
He has been allowed a week to pay the fine.
