A covert Police operation has led to the arrest of a 51-year-old accused of importing heroin with a street value of £28,000.
Liverpool-born Mark Morgan will today appear in the Magistrate’s Court charged with importing what was described as a “commercial quantity” of the Class A drug.
He was arrested on Saturday following an intelligence-led operation by the Serious Crimes Unit, and charged the following day.
