A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a home and stealing in St. Brelade.
Police said they made the arrest this morning.
It comes after an islander posted on Facebook, seeking the public’s help in identifying a man spotted on CCTV looking through drawers and cupboards in his lounge.
The islander said that his teenage son had been in bed at the time.
Police said in an update this morning: “…We can confirm that a 31-year-old man has been arrested for break and entry and larceny this morning, following a report of a man entering a property on 30 March in St. Brelade. The suspect was caught on private CCTV at the time.
“We will issue an update in due course.”
