The new Children and Education Minister has appointed two Assistant Ministers.
St. Peter Constable Richard Vibert (top, left), who is joining Government for the first time, will stand in for the Minister, Deputy Scott Wickenden (centre), when he is unable to carry out his duties.
Deputy Trevor Pointon (right) has been reappointed as the political lead for children's mental health services.
Deputy Wickenden was elected to the leading role on 29 June, beating off competition from former teachers and Scrutineers, Deputies Rob Ward and Louise Doublet.
The election followed the resignation of former Education Minister Deputy Jeremy Maçon amid a police investigation into unconfirmed charges against him.
