The Optimists Club took the Battle of Flowers' biggest prize, the Prix d'Honneur, on Friday with their Moana-themed float.

This was the first time in "a generation" that all 12 parishes had been involved in the event, which was this year topped off with musical performances from Eurovision star Sam Ryder, Marti Pellow and a Queen tribute act, according to Battle of Flowers Chair Russell Labey.
