The full round-up of candidates showed that 17 were elected unopposed last night, with the remaining 24 seats contested by 51 candidates.

The candidates in contested seats are as follows:

St Helier No 1 – Three seats

Deputy Judy Martin, Deputy Nick Le Cornu, Russell Labey, Shannen Kerrigan, Scott Wickenden and Gino Risoli.

 St Helier No 2 – Three seats

Deputy Geoff Southern, Deputy Sam Mezec, Deputy Rod Bryans, Martin Green and Bernard Manning.

St Helier No 3 – Four seats

Deputy Jackie Hilton, Mary Osmond, John Ttakkallos, Laura Millen, Andrew Lewis, Deputy Mike Higgins, Ted Vibert, Christian May, Mary Ayling-Philip and Deputy Richard Rondel.

 St Saviour No 1 – Two seats

Deputy Rob Duhamel, Deputy Jeremy Macon and Peter Mac.

St Saviour No 2 – Two seats

Deputy Kevin Lewis, Louise Doublet and Maureen Morgan.

 St Brelade No 1 – One seat

Mike Jackson, Angela Jeune, Murray Norton.

 St Brelade No 2 – Two seats

Beatrice Poree, Jane Blakeley, Deputy Montfort Tadier, Graham Truscott, Jeff Hathaway, Peter Troy, Natalie Duffy.

 St Clement – Two seats

Deputy Gerard Baudains, Simon Bree, Darius Pearce, Deputy Susie Pinel.

 Trinity – One seat

Deputy Anne Pryke, Hugh Raymond.

 St Peter – One seat

Deputy Kristina Moore, Debbie Hardisty.

 St Mary Deputy – One seat

Mark Evans, David Johnson.
