Car that drove wrong way sought for 'hit and run'

Tuesday 23 April 2019

Police are seeking information about a car that drove the wrong way up a road before crashing into another.

They said the silver Renault Clio was spotted driving the wrong way up Don Road from Georgetown around 22:20 on 21 April when it collided with a red Mini Cooper.

The accident caused “minor damage” to the other vehicle, but the car didn’t stop and continued in the direction of Howard Davis Park, Police said.

They’re now looking for witnesses to what they’re describing as a “hit and run” incident, and ask anyone who knows anything to contact them on 612612 or make an anonymous report via the Crimestoppers website.
