A Condor ferry was damaged after crashing into the ramp as it made its way into the harbour yesterday.
Condor officials described the Rapide boat as having come into "light contact" with the linkspan - the bridge allowing vehicles access onto the ferry - as it arrived back from St. Malo yesterday afternoon.
However, the vessel was still able to successfully dock at 16:15, and the ferry provider said that all passengers were still able to disembark on time.
The hull was damaged during the collision, but officials described it as only being "superficial". They told Express that it only used three engines on its return to St. Malo "as a precaution".
